If you can master these 3 things you are going to make money. PLAIN AND SIMPLE!

So here are the 3 things

1. Know your SOURCE!!!

If you don't know where the people are coming from who click on your ads then you will fail. You must know the sources vertical, the type of traffic - display, click or content. Based on these three factors you can make a concluding decision on what to run on that traffic source. For example did you know the majority of people you advertise to on 50onred.com are people who actually installed a coupons application on their PC? Or people from TrafficVance are actually people who installed Gamevance offers? If you know these things you are equipped to deliver insanely targetted offers to them.

2. Know Where the traffic comes From

Pretty simple. Is it from cell phones, social media websites, ads on Google, pop ups, pop unders, . Different places have different ads. Many people have no idea how the ads are actually delivered to the end user and they waste a ton of money.

3. Know how to Optimize

Your campaign has the same basic principles as mine. Find the best offer, get the best payouts, test direct linking vs. landing pages, test which landing pages work best, etc. Extended Optimization variables are all those little extra things (which are actually quite MASSIVE) to test which are specific to the traffic source. Some traffic sources give you tons of optimization variables while others have none. With mobile you can see which carrier converts better. In Facebook or plenty of Fish you can test age and gender and a multitude of other things. Adwords brings something called quality score and keyword optimization.

Just remember you have to match your offers and promotions to the traffic source! Some traffic sources will fit with affiliate offers much better than others.

So lets just do one example...let's say you want to try 50onred.com. Its likely A large majority of the audience are middle aged women and consumers so it wouldn’t make sense to try to and sell them muscle supplements. Maybe you would have a better chance advertising diet pills, skin care or discounts and savings offers.
