TikTok has become visibly a big thing now and like most of the other internet giants, they are also making money by selling ads. TikTok has recently introduced TikTok for Business where digital marketers can sign up and run ads for their brands and products.

TikTok ads are in-feed ads, as we know news-feed ads from Facebook's perspective. These in-feed video ads run between organic content on the "For You" page that appears on everyone's screen beside the "You Follow" tab.

These in-feed ads not just give you views/engagement but are also click-outs, which means people can click on these ads and land on your product pages or mobile apps, hence a good way to get a user consideration that can lead to a conversion.

Pricing on TikTok is generally much better than other platforms, but prices are rising steadily as brands flood to TikTok. Even though targeting capabilities are currently limited, but as teens and the next generation are there, TikTok seems to be even bigger in the future and we can expect more targeting features from TikTok cores.
