Instagram's core team member has shared on Twitter that the team is working on new layouts for the Instagram App that will push Instagram Shop's visibility on the menu and in the user's feed. He further said that these changes reflect shifts they’re seeing from people, both in how they use the product but also how they push culture forward on Instagram: the rise of creators, the explosion of video, acceleration of online shopping. It is needed to adapt to these shifts while keeping things simple.
This seems to be a good development for people who have done business or influencer marketing over Instagram. This is going to open the new windows of opportunities to conduct more business and sell products.
