If you'd like to start with mobile advertising, you can start with as low as $5 with Mobicow.
Mobicow takes your landing page and uses the visible part of your page as a large interstitial on visitors smartphones. It goes without saying that you'd need a great-looking, high converting, and a fast-loading landing page with the offer (CTA) sitting somewhere on the top of the page.
Now, where this can be tempting, it'll also be foolish if you just went with a regular campaign on Mobicow. Don't expect to pay $5 and see conversions happening. The best practices of affiliate marketing will still apply.
Big tip: Never, ever, run RON campaign on Mobicow. You'd be instantly hit with tons of traffic and you wouldn't even know if that traffic is bots or humans. Plus, you'll run out of your budgets very fast.
While you setup your campaigns on Mobicow, be sure to actually use the targeting options you have ( they are there for a reason).
Going by the offer you are promoting, the Geos allowed, and many other parameters such as Cities, phone carriers, devices, and more pick your choices as much as possible as shown below.
Lastly, the most important part (and is often neglected) the site targeting options:
Be sure to open and check each Site (these sites are always known by their IDs, and you won't be able to see the site itself) with its ID.
Let's say the offer focuses on Australia.
After you complete all the fields and get to the Site ID part, first deselect all sites this is checked for you by default (and so you'd need to deselect first). Then, click open to see each site by selecting the site.
You'll then see data on the Geos that the respective site gets the most traffic from.
You'd obviously not want to select sites that have maximum traffic coming in from Angola, Pakistan, and Trinidad, right?
Check if everything is alright, take care of your tracking and set it up right, and then launch your campaigns.
