Know Facebook Before Promoting
The first thing you should do before even thinking of promoting anything on Facebook is to understand it. There is nothing worse than getting a starting something and wasting your time and money, only to find out it will not work on Facebook or it’s something they will not allow. ALWAYS know everything about the platform you are running on before even thinking of trying to promote anything on it.
The main purpose of Facebook is to make sure their uses have the best experience possible. They don’t care about advertisers or how much money they are making off them. They have thousands of advertisers complying with their rules and more than enough money to do what they want. Their main focus is the whole Facebook experience for their uses so always keep that in mind.

Advertising Policies
Just like any other traffic platform, Facebook has very strict policies. I have provided links below that you should read through or at least skim through so you have a good idea of what is acceptable and what is not.

If you run a celeb image or another companies image, you may have a very difficult time promoting anything but we will help you get pass that in one of our advanced guides. Just remember everything you submit to Facebook must be “unique”.


Managing Facebook Accounts

Facebook does not condone using multiple accounts at once. You should always ensure you are not using your personal account and keep it separate from the ads you are going to run.


Rules to follow when using Facebook Ad Accounts

• Do not use prepaid cards, always try to use a legitimate credit card. What I have been doing is using AMEX Business Cards. This way I can order up to 100 at any given time and pretty much have an endless supply.
• Do no use a Virtual Private Server/VPN or any hosting company for your Facebook accounts. Always try to use a real residential IP. There are services out there that provide this to you. (Check out http://dslrentals.com/)
• Warm up your account for at least 4 weeks and treat it like you would your own facebook account, adding friends, liking pages etc. Alternatively if you wanted to get an account up quicker you could follow our post here http://powerhouseaffiliate.com/forum...ok-ad-accounts
• Don’t use Facebook Coupons, it’s one of the worse things you could do.
• Once the time zone on your account is set, it is permanent and cannot be changed.
• If you are not going to run that complies with rules of Facebook, warm up your account and get to 250 threshold before submitting anything that doesn’t comply.
