This is a great way to reward engaged subscribers and reinforce their positive behavior. Modern email marketing systems can help you in doing so. They tell who has opened an email and who hasn't. Who opens most of your emails and who misses out on a few. Model your email subject lines in a way that people get an urge to open them, even effective is, offer little promos and discounts if someone regularly opens your emails, plus attract in your email subject lines to others offering the same.

Value their time when you are doing a Survey. Whenever you ask subscribers to take a survey, hide special rewards throughout the survey as well as at the end of the survey. Mention this within your email so they find the survey a win-win.

Social Proof is a great leverage asset within your emails. It helps people in getting convinced and making their mind. Sometimes, a casual social proof does a thing that even the best ad copy won't. Make sure to include a few in the series of your emails.
